Services

We help clients get better results from their digital products and services. How we do this changes depending on the client, but our services generally fit into five areas:

  • We help organisations decide what to do with their digital channels by providing independent advice and reviews. When conducting a review we consider what you’re trying to achieve, then we look at the customer experience, analytics and any other performance data. We also talk to your internal stakeholders to build alignment and get a well-rounded view of current state and to identify future opportunities.

Based on the review, we make a number of recommendations in highly visual presentations that are easy to understand and communicate. The recommendations are used to help make investment decisions. In many instances our advice has saved clients considerable time and money.

Sometimes we’re asked very specific questions like: Do we need a new website? How could we use digital to do something specific? Should we adopt this technology or appoint this vendor? What is a reasonable budget?

It’s good to get independent advice from a range of sources when debating options.

  • When we say digital strategy we mean looking across all of your digital activities to determine how they can be enhanced and coordinated to better support your organisation. Where there are new opportunities, we test and validate them. Where there are risks, we help you mitigate them.

We begin digital strategy work by understanding your situation and thinking deeply about your customers and your digital products, channels and services. We are not trying to sell you anything, and our digital strategy work may reveal you could stop certain activities.

To understand your organisation and digital opportunities, we collaborate closely with your team through fun, fast and thought-provoking workshops. Using our research and the workshop outputs we create visuals and prototypes to capture the vision and test concepts with your team and your customers. This process informs what technology approach you should take, and how you might resource and manage the project.

Once the options have been tested, refined and validated, we tie all the work together into a visual ‘future state’ document and roadmap. The visual nature of our work reduces confusion, jargon and risk because it's much easier to know what to do when you can see it.

This is what we call digital strategy. We know that projects that start with this type of digital strategy produce much better results.

  • If you’re going to market to find a digital agency or technology partner for a customer-focussed project, we can help.

We’ve captured requirements and created RFPs and briefs for many different organisations. We have also sat on dozens of procurement panels, assessing proposals, presentations, technologies and companies.

We can help you manage the procurement process from end-to-end, ensuring you create the right brief, set the right expectations, and choose the right partners.

  • Tom Hovey sits on many different steering groups and committees overseeing digital projects.

  • Great strategy requires creativity and imagination to come up with meaningful choices and different ways to solve problems.

We conduct research and follow human-centred design processes to come up with possibilities that improve the customer experience. We can help you tackle specific problems or opportunities with research, personas, service design, prototyping and imagination.
